5.1 Data Control

• Delete Wine Data: You can delete individual wines or your entire collection at any time from the Cellar view. This permanently removes the data from your device.
• Camera Permission: You can revoke camera access at any time through iOS Settings > WineIQ > Camera. This prevents wine label scanning but doesn't affect other app features.
• Local Storage Only: Your wine collection never leaves your device except when explicitly sent as context for sommelier chat requests.

Your wine collection is stored locally on your device. If you need to export your data, please contact us for assistance.

5.3 Opt-Out Options

Currently, analytics collection is integral to app functionality and cannot be disabled. However, we only collect anonymized usage data that helps improve the app experience.

6. Children's Privacy

WineIQ is intended for users who are of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 21 in the United States, or the applicable legal drinking age in other countries.

• Local Data: Stored indefinitely on your device until you delete it.
• Analytics Data: Retained according to Amplitude's data retention policies.
• AI Processing: Wine label images are processed in real-time and not permanently stored. Chat conversations may be retained according to OpenAI's policies.
• Subscription Data: Retained by RevenueCat for the duration of your subscription and as required for financial records.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. Third-party service providers may store data on servers located in the United States and other jurisdictions. By using WineIQ, you consent to such transfers.
